Documenting every historic church in Great Britain

How can you help?
A project of this size is far too big for one person to do on their own. So your contribution is invaluable to help build and maintain a site dedication to Historic Churches throughout Great Britain.
How do you define Historic?
We use the term very loosely. Basically its any Church or other Place or Worship that is architecturally interesting. So this excludes any modern buildings.
Add a church
If you know of an Historic Church that isn't in our database then please Add it. It could you your local church or just one that you have read about on the internet. We welcome all reports to help make this site complete.
Add a photo?
We love seeing pictures of Historic churches and we are in the process of amending the site to allow for multiple photos of each church. If you want to have your photos displayed on the site then please follow the instructions on each church page.
Add dedications.
Under each county is a tab that displays places of worship information that has been obtained from Ordnance Survey Open data. Whilst we are going through this data ourselves. We already added County and rough location, we need help with dedications. If you know the dedication of a church in these sections, then please submit it to us on the form on each of the church pages. Once this is complete then the final part of the site can be started in earnest.
Writing of articles
The aim is to give basic information on each church on their page. Just a couple of paragraphs giving the overall impression of church. Point out some interesting features. Have a list of things you must see on a visit to the church and a list of any famous peoples graves. Again each churches page has links on how this information can be submitted.
Anything else?
