Historic Churches of Great Britain isn't trying to accumulate its own collection of photos. We believe that people should own their own collections and we are always very grateful when people allow their photos to be used on sites like ours. As a result we use photos from open sources such as flickr, Wikimedia Commons and to a certain extent Geograph. This gives the photographer control over their photos. We'd like to see these licensed under the Creative Commons Licence so that we are clear that we can use the photographs. Any photos that we do use, we attribute to the copyright holder.

If you have a photo of this Historic Church that you are willing for us to use, then please ether add it to WikiMedia Commons or Geograph and use the text boxes above to inform us of the URL.

Alternatively, you can add it to flickr as follows.
  1. put it on Flickr (it's free)
  2. give it a Creative Commons licence
  3. tag it HCofGB:id=xxxxx (where xxxx is the machine tag of the church as found on its page)
  4. add it to the Historic Churches of Great Britain Flickr group
  5. When we next do our regular check of out flickr group, we will pick this up and add it to our site with our grateful thanks and credit you via a link to your flickr page.
