Main text Much 12th-century work remains in this isolated church; it had links to Battle Abbey at that time. Remnants of a Saxon apse are also visible. The flint building has a wooden belfry and a late-19th-century timber-framed roof. Restoration was carried out in 1853. The chancel is mostly 13th-century.
