Main text Found this one by accident having taken a wrong turning. Tucked away in the narrow lanes to the south of Leominster. Quite a mix-match of architecture from different centuries. Like many churches built along West to East with the main entrence to the south. The Tower was built around 1200 and the way the pyramidal roof projects the tower is noticable. The main nave is of a later period, about 13th century as is the chancel. With a South chapel is later still, 14th Century. It would be interesting to find out when the timer framed gable was added to the tower. The church is in the middle of what is known as black and white county, so this black and white gable on this church really connects this church with its area. Unfortunatly the church was locked at the time of my visit therefore I did not see inside the church.
