The earlist parts of this church are 12th century. However most of the church including the 198 feet (60m) tower and spire which is said to be the highest in Oxfordshire, are 14th and 15th century. The Perpendicular Gothic Milcombe chapel dates from the 15th Century.The church was extensively renovated by the Gothic Revival architect G.E. Street between 1864 and 1866.
