Main text St Mary is the church on the right in the photograph. On the left is St Michael, the parish church of Whitwell. There was a third church on this site on the left of the picture. This was All Saints, the parish church of Hackford. This is supposed to be some remains of this third church but I struggled to find it when I visited. St Mary is still in use but St Michael was made redundant in the 1970 and is now just used as a hall.
